About me

I'm Erik Jan de Vries, an independent AI & MLOps consultant based in the Netherlands. With 15+ years of experience across data engineering, machine learning, and platform architecture, I've helped organisations in finance, energy, telecoms, and logistics move from AI ambition to working systems in production.

I work across two tracks: hands-on architecture and engineering of ML platforms and Generative AI services, and strategic advisory on Data & AI direction and capability. My approach is pragmatic and outcome-focused — whether I'm writing code or advising leadership.
